A Celebration of Life for Mr. Wilson Robertson, Sr. of Tampa who passed away on Sunday, December 25, 2011, will be held on Friday, December 30th, at 11:00 a.m., at New Hope Missionary Baptist Church, 3005 E. Ellicott St., Pastor T.W. Jenkins, officiating. Interment will be in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery. Mr. Robertson retired from Dixie Plywood Company after 30 years of service. He was a veteran of WWII with decorations and citations, American theater ribbon, good conduct medal, WWII medal Tux-m-20E, 3216/26 October 1945. He was preceded in death by his wife, Eunice Robertson; parents, Anderson and Lillie Robertson; brother, Johnny Lee; sister, Gertha Gordon; daughter-in-law, Ann Robertson; and grandsons, Reginald Harrell and Edward Robertson, Jr. He leaves to cherish loving memories of him sons, Wilson Roberston, Jr., John (Ruth) Robertson, Sr., Luarthur (Betty) Robertson, Sr., and Edward (Mary) Robertson, Sr.; loving daughters, Lillie Haley, Rose Roberston, Maude Robertson and Callie Robertson; loving grandchildren, Horace Robertson, Dr. Vandelon (Eric) Holland, Gregory Haley, John (Janita) Roberston, Jr., Katrina (Eric) West, Luarthur Robertson, Jr., Desmond Collins, Keith (MyResha) Robertson, Eric (Lauren) Haley, Keldrick (Shayorka) Robertson, Dr., Turkesia (David) Jones, Ternise Robertson, Roderick Canty and Shannon Williams; loving great grandchildren, Jamarcus Robertson, Dashon Robertson, Devondre Robertson, Anthony Fiffie, Demarco Stephens, Jayden Robertson, Keynnadi Robertson, Shayla Haley, Tamairha Morgan, Erica Holland, Desiree Davis, Noah Haley, Eric West, Jr., India West, David Jones II, Marquavis Hamilton and Tanaejah Davis; sister-in-law, Callie Crawford; and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and sorrowing friends. The viewing will be held one hour prior to the service on Friday, December 30th from 10:00 a.m. until the service begins. Friends and family are asked to meet at the church for the homegoing celebration.
