A homegoing celebration for Miss. Yasmin Uniqua Gardner of Tampa, Florida who passed away on Wednesday, March 29, 2017 will be held Saturday, April 8th, 11:00 a.m. at Rivers of Life Church, 301 Lakewood Dr., Pastor Curtis Swafford with Min. Justin Johnson, officiating. The interment will be in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery. Yasmin was born June 30, 1999 in Tampa, Florida. She attended Tampa Bay Tech High School and graduated with Honors from Armwood High School, class of 2016. Yasmin loved animals and aspired to become a veterinarian. She enjoyed socializing with her family and friends, going out to dinner, attending church services, and entertaining others. Yasmin also understood the meaning of giving and was an organ donor. She was preceded in death by her great-grandmother, Donnie Gardner; great-aunt, Elizabeth Tyler; uncle, Dexter Gardner and great-uncle, Fred Gardner. She leaves to cherish her precious memories and will be missed by her loving her parents, Shalando Gardner-Favors (Terry); brother, Yasir Favors; sister, Yanya Jeffery; grandparents, Carol McDuffie (Charles) and Telando Gardner; great-grandparents, Juanita Campbell James and Claude McDuffie, Sr.; aunts, Talonda Gardner (Alan), Tiera Johnson (Brandon), Porshia McDuffie and Lexus McDuffie; a host of great-aunts; great-uncle, Claude McDuffie; a host of other great-uncles; cousins, Alando and Arzani Riggins; a host of other cousins; extended family, the Campbell, Jordan, Saffo and Flowers families; god-mother, Sheketha Cooper; god-sister, Stephanie Thomas; close friend, Thomas Convington; friends, Marteyuna Holmes, Karmesha Wigfall, Trinity, Keiaerial George and Sha'kyla Truitt. The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Friday, April 7th from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. The family and friends are asked to meet at the church on Saturday for the service.
