Obituary

Mrs. Yolanda Marie Thompson-Bradley was born on January 23, 1960 to Mrs. Dorothy Thompson-Brown and the late Mr. Charles Thompson in Manhattan, New York. Yolanda attended the public schools of New York City and graduated from Charles Evan Hughes High School in 1978. She relocated to Tampa, FL in 1987 and furthered her education at Erwin Vocational Technical College, graduating with a degree in Nursing in 1992. She committed her life to Christ in 1995 as a faithful member of First Baptist Church of College Hill, under the leadership of Rev. Abraham Brown for over 10 years. She served as President of the Young Adults Choir, member of the Matrons, Nurses Guild and Usher Board. For the last four years Yolanda has served as a faithful member of Life in Christ Community Church; where she served as the school superintendent and her husband ministered. She was preceded in death by her father, Charles Thompson and her grandson, Master Tyler Gregory Ball. She leaves to cherish her fond memories: husband, Kembrick Bradley, Sr; 3 sons, Tyrone Ball, Duane Ball and Kembrick, Jr. of Miami, FL; 1 daughter, Shameka Evans of Miami, FL; grandchildren, Lathan Ball, Kaylen Ball, Kembrisha Evans of Miami, FL, Kembrick, III, Abram Simpson of Miami, FL and Terrance Stevenson of Miami, FL; mother, Mrs. Dorothy Thompson-Brown of New York City; grandmother, Mrs. Terlena Daniels of Jackson, MS; sisters; Charlotte Thompson and Deborah Tolbert and husband, Vincent; aunts, Irma Williams of San Francisco, CA, Bettie Daniels of New York City and Jennifer Merrick; uncles, Spencer Daniels and wife, Sandy of Oakland, CA, H. Paul Daniels and wife, Donna of Irving, TX; nieces, Serena, Mandy, and Ciara; nephews, Andrew, Antoine and D'Andre; cousins, Angela, David, Jason, Jamal, Sharon, Susan, Aaron, Anita, Yanika, Paula, Larry, Tina, Eric and Vincent ; 3 lifelong friends, Christine Barrett, Diane Mallard and Carlene Jamieson; and a host of sorrowing extended family members and friends.
