Homegoing services for Sis. Yvonne Marion of Tampa who was called home to glory by her Father on Tuesday, December 3, 2014, will be held on Saturday, December 13th, 2:00 p.m., Aikens Funeral Home Chapel, 2708 E. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd, Rev. Clyde Johns, officiating. The interment will be in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery. Sister Marion was born in Savannah, Georgia and had resided in Tampa most of her life. At the time of her passing she resided in Melbourne, Florida. She was a member of New Life Restoration Ministry, Pastor's Clyde and Jessie John. She was preceded in death by her mother, Lillian Brown, grandfather, Peter Brown and brother, Harold "Bear" Brown. She leaves to cherish her memory: husband, Eddie Dean Marion; 3 daughters, Yodell Jackson, Detra Marion and Trinnese Marion; 1 son, Marcus Daniel (Tasha); 4 sisters, Joann Taylor (Johnny) Dawn Richardson, Tina Frazier and Kathy Brown; 4 brothers, Eddie Brown, Dennis Brown, Michael Williams and Derry McCloud; 5 grandchildren, Shakema Brown, Tarkishia Jackson, Marreo Jackson, Teyonna Jackson and Marquise Daniel; 7 great grandchildren; 19 nieces and nephews; and a host of friends, Mother Huff, Sister Barbara Jackson and Sister Viola Anderson. The family would like to give a special heart filled thanks to Mother Rita. The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Friday, December 12th from 5 to 8 p.m. The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. The family and friends are asked to meet at the chapel on Saturday for the service.
