Zelda was born on February 16, 1968 to Richard Pope, Jr. and Rosa Lee Pope.

Renee attended Hillsborough County Public Schools and graduated from Lavoy Exceptional Center. She participated in the Special Olympics while attending school. Although she was shy, Renee always met you with a friendly smile. She also resided in Los Angeles, CA. for some time.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Richard Pope, Jr. and Rosa Lee Pope; siblings, Howard Johnson, Richard III, Alphonso, Patricia, Warren, Waymon, Yvonne, and Diane Pope.

She leaves precious memories with her brother, LeRoy Pope of Los Angeles, CA.; sisters, Min. Eva Russell of Tampa, FL, Dinah Harris of Los Angeles, CA., Miriam OBrien (Bobby) of San Antonio, TX., and Pauline Pope-Williams (Richard) of Tampa, FL.; aunt, Vivian Johnson of Portland, OR.; nieces, Nicole Johnson, Monica Stenson, Tameka Hampton-Williams, Susan Pope, LeChelle Pope, LeKeshia Williams, LeShai Sanders (Dwayne), and Victoria Pope; nephews, Alan Stenson, Michael Russell, Jr., Jeneral Russell, Ishmeal, Bryan (Starr), RaShad Harris, Dorian Harris (Joyce), Maurice Bryan, Daymon Pope (Temitope), Warren Obrien, LeRoy Williams IV, Markese Smith, Marcel Phillips, Deonte Pope, and MarCelyn Pope; numerous great-nieces and nephews; cousins, The Johnson, Hudson, Bryant, Dorsey, Montana, Laster, Sledge, Long, and Taylor families; and devoted neighbor and friend, Jacqueline Chaney-Wilson and family.
