Nationwide & International Shipping Services

Aikens Funeral Home, Inc.

TSA KNOWN SHIPPER

Nationwide & International Shipping Services

We understand how difficult it can be when a loved one passes away. This can be even more difficult when a loved one passes away while away from home, or if there is a need to transport them from the Tampa Bay area back to their place of birth or former residence. We have the experience to handle all the details and arrangements involved with the dignified transfer of your loved one’s remains anywhere across the country or around the world.

Many families within our diverse community desire to have their deceased loved ones transported back to another state or repatriated to their native homeland. However, transferring or repatriating human remains requires special knowledge and expertise.

Many funeral homes do not offer or encourage this service because of the stringent security requirements that have been implemented by the Transportation Security Administration (TSA). In order to meet those strict rules, Aikens Funeral Home has become a Registered Known Shipper (RKS) with the airline industry. Our team is dedicated to shipping your loved one back home with the utmost professional care, respect, and consideration.

Aikens Funeral Home routinely transfers human remains in and out of the Tampa/Orlando International Airport.
